Requena is located 65 km to the west of Valencia and has a very old tradition in wine making. It is the capital of the prestigious Utiel-Requena wine area.
This tour includes a walk within the Barrio de la Villa (old city) declared national collection of historic-artistic buildings with two gothic churches, a remnant of the arab walls with a X century tower, the Alcazaba.... The tour finishes with wine tasting in a typical wine cellar from the beginning of the XX century.
It is possible to visit the caves located under the city from the XII century and used as wine cellars.
This visit can be organised with a lunch in any of the local restaurants in Requena.
